Nicole takes interest in helping people who suffer with symptoms related to headaches, TMJ dysfunction, running, motor vehicle accidents, postural imbalances and pregnancy, amongst many other things. Working with clients to establish a thorough history and providing recommendations for client self care, Nicole strives to alleviate symptoms to achieve client goals and prevent recurrence.
In combination with practicing at Mainland Massage, Nicole has worked as a T.A and clinic instructor at both WCCMT and Langara College within the massage therapy programs. Nicole joined the BC Bike Race Wellness team in 2016 and travels the week long mountain bike race annually, treating riders from around the world. She has recently stepped into a leadership role as Lead Therapist and Wellness Ambassador.
When exciting opportunities collide with the use of her skill set, Nicole is the first to jump on unique experiences. Since 2017, she has volunteered her time to be involved with TED talks in Vancouver, providing massage to attendees. Other volunteer work includes experience at BC Women’s hospital, The Ride to Conquer Cancer, Canuck Place Children’s Hospice, Vancouver Triathlon, Whistler Gran Fondo, George Pearson Centre, Canuck Place Adventure Race, and other sporting events. These experiences have led her to treat a wide patient population that includes hospice patients, pregnant women, children and professional athletes.
Nicole loves to run, hike, cook and travel. Her husband and their dog Bruce are apart of the dream to one day reside on an island inhabited by (more) dogs and grow fresh veggies, in which people will visit to enjoy the simple things in life!
