Dr. Kevin Dieleman, Chiropractor

Kevin DielemanDr. Kevin studied Kinesiology during his undergraduate years at the University College of the Fraser Valley while also playing one year of collegiate volleyball and 4 years of basketball.  During this time Dr. Kevin was a part of two national basketball championships.  He then graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California.  While completing his chiropractic education in California, Dr. Kevin’s interest and love for sports introduced him to Active Release Technique.  Dr. Kevin has experience treating athletes at events such as professional beach volleyball tournaments, mountain bike races, Mountain Dew Sports X-games, and the Ironman Triathlon in Kona, Hawaii.

Dr. Kevin has also worked with men’s college basketball teams, the Seattle Seahawks during their training camp in 2008, and national dance competitors.  Dr. Kevin has extensively studied in the area of golf biomechanics through the Titleist Performance Institute and currently treats many of Canada’s top golfers.  Review our TPI page for more information on this.

Dr. Laura Iverson-Dieleman, Chiropractor

Dr. Laura completed an Honours Bachelor of Science at the University of Waterloo before heading to California to graduate from Life Chiropractic College West with honours.  Dr. Laura continued her education by studying for multiple years with the Carrick Institute of Graduate Studies focusing on neurological applications.  She is currently continuing her studies in this field with the International Association of Functional Neurology and Rehabilitation working towards a Diplomate in Functional Neurology.

She has also completed many extra studies in the field of prenatal care and pediatrics which she is very passionate about.   She completed certification for using the Webster Technique, which she uses specifically on pregnant women to ensure their pelvis is optimal before they enter the birth process.  She has also volunteered her time in El Salvador with a group of chiropractors, treating over 500 people while she was there.

Dr. Laura has worked with athletes competing at the international level as well as with young children just making their athletic debuts.  She also has a special interest in working with infants and children as well as women who are pregnant or post partum.  One of her favourite things is caring for a woman throughout their pregnancy and then having the honour to check and care for the baby once it’s born!  Dr. Laura uses Active Release Technique, and adjusts using many different gentle methods depending on the comfort level of the patient.  When not at work, Dr. Laura spends the majority of her time chasing her busy son, Sam and her daughter, Ella.

Dr. Laura is a member of the College of Chiropractors of British Columbia, the British Columbia Chiropractic Association, the International Association of Functional Neurology and Rehabilitation, and the International Pediatric Chiropractic Association.

Dr. Taylor Burkinshaw, Chiropractor

Taylor BurkinshawAs an avid soccer player and sports enthusiast, Dr. Taylor Burkinshaw has always had a keen interest in the sports medical field.   Born and raised in White Rock, Dr. Taylor attended UBC’s Food, Nutrition and Health program which complimented his Chiropractic degree attained from The Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto.  While in Toronto, Taylor completed a yearlong Chiropractic internship under two sports chiropractors, and worked extensively with the Ontario Soccer Association.

He believes in comprehensive treatment programs and combines multiple therapies in order to get his patients back in the game. Dr. Taylor utilizes joint manipulation, Active Release Technique, Graston Therapy and rehabilitation exercises to treat a wide range of both athletic and everyday injuries. Presently, Dr. Taylor is the Chiropractor and Medical Director of the Titans Football Organization and also directs the Think Fitness program for the Think Referrals Business Network.

Jamie Pacheco,  Registered Massage Therapist

Jamie PachecoJamie Pacheco graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2011 and has been working at Grandview Health Group since 2012.

Jamie loves her work as a Registered Massage Therapist and has experience treating patients with Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia, Parkinson’s Disease, low to high risk pregnancies, digestive disorders, and various other conditions. She incorporates therapeutic and relaxation techniques, along with education and exercise, to promote overall wellness. She enjoys treating patients of all ages, but has a special interest in Pediatric treatment, and is certified in Infant massage. Jamie has pursued further education in Prenatal massage, and provides Doula services when requested.

Jamie’s mission is to help patients achieve their individual goals of health and wellness, through various massage therapy techniques and homecare exercises.


Lily Zhu, R.Ac

Lily ZhuLily trained for five years and earned her degree at Nanjiing University of Chinese medicine, China.  After practicing for 5 years at Liyang Hospital of Chinese Medicine, Lily moved to Waterloo, Ontario.  There she started her own clinic and continued practicing for 14 years.  Lily was a board member of the Canadian Association of Acupuncture of Traditional Chinese Medicine.  Lily has since acquired a license for practicing acupuncture in BC and recently joined Grandview Health Group.  She commands many satisfied clients.  Lily provides comprehensive therapy: acupuncture, moxibustion, scalp and circular acupuncture and tunia.

Karen McCreath, Office Manager

Karen McCreathKaren graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. She worked at Extended Care’s head office downtown Toronto and then joined a family who hired her to work with their handicapped daughter implementing gross motor programs and facilitating life skills. In 1995 Karen moved to White Rock with her husband John and their two children Grant and Meaghan.

During the past 14 years she has worked locally, for a Canadian software company training Optometrists throughout the US, with a chiropractor in Fort Langley and most recently working for her brother’s WR based painting company. It was while working 9 years ago at WR Optometry that Karen first met Dr. Laura; although they went in different directions it was a small core group that kept in touch that eventually lead to their paths crossing perfectly – the beginning of Grandview Health Group.
